Meet our Founder

Alyssa Holmes is a Clinical Herbalist and deeply passionate about the healing components of plants. Alyssa graduated from The Southwest Insitute of Healing Arts, where she learned ethical harvesting, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), urban farming, botany, clinical herbalism, flower essences, components of Traditional Chinese Medicine/Ayurveda, plant extraction, the actions of botanicals, and how to pair them with specific ailments. She is fascinated with herbs that grow wild in the Sonoran Desert, which is why they are in many of our products.

Alyssa is a mom of 3 and loves spending time with her kids, hiking, harvesting plants, and making herbal tinctures. Her love for herbalism came from years of medical neglect, autoimmune flares, skin conditions and years of many unanswered questions. That changed when she was introduced to the world of herbalism by her Naturopathic doctor. Alyssa decided to pursue an education in Tempe, Arizona studying under world renowned herbalist, Joanna Sanchez. She is extremely greatful for the opportunities given by this community and is sharing the gifts of botanicals through her herbal product company, Tolle Totum Botanicals, founded in 2024.
